Student Performance and Growth

Student performance is measured in NAPLAN compared to students with similar background but also showing the individual growth of students. The NAPLAN data referred to is year level data consisting of all student results combined. We unable to promise any particular level of academic performance or achievement for your child specifically. A student’s education journey has many variables and is a joint effort between school and family, and together we create the conditions for success.

St Joseph’s students consistently achieve both high performance and high growth in NAPLAN and other testing in year 3 and year 5.

Students from St Joseph’s show achievement well above students from a similar background in year 7 NAPLAN testing in both their overall performance and individual growth from Year 5.

St Joseph’s school collects data on student performance and growth using a range of tools throughout the school year to ensure that teachers know how each student is learning and that each students grows and develops to meet their fullest potential.
